  • I am really enjoying the Tabernacles messages each day as part of my feast observance.
I agree with Lee’s comment to today’s talk. Especially the points made by scripture references.
We need to keep striving to emulate God’s all Agape love toward others. His love and compassion even extends towards those that do harm to His people. Just read the book of Jonah where He sends Jonah out to condemn Ninevah, yet when they earnestly repent, He shows great mercy and spares them. His mercy is greater than His righteous retribution. I do not believe He would be capable of such mercy if He did not deeply love ALL men He has created. Who are we to deny mercy and love of those who have harmed us? Most of our complaints against our fellow humans and brethren are trivial. Oftentimes it’s a matter of opinion! Put aside your grievances whenever possible. Be an example of His Agape love. BECOME IT. Only then can we fully perfectly express Christ in our own heart and mind.

  • THANKS SO MUCH Roger for this EXCEPTIONALLY **INSIGHTFUL** and truly INSPIRING message!! You hit this one OUT OF THE PARK!! I truly believe that a very large part of the problem lies with the gross misunderstanding of the need for AGAPE LOVE and of the TRUE meaning of our calling and purpose which is clearly revealed in 1 Corinthians 13!!! “The GREATEST of these is **LOVE**” (1 Corinthians 13:13) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven; but the one who is DOING the will of My Father, who is in heaven. MANY will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy through Your name? And did we not cast out demons through Your name? And did we not perform many works of power through Your name?” And then I will confess to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU. DEPART FROM Me, you who work lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23) This is not being addressed to the world but to the church!! The divisions which you mentioned among the various Churches of God make it blatantly obvious that there is a gross misunderstanding of the upmost importance of agape love!! Romans 12:18 states: “If possible, as much as is your part, be at peace with ALL men.” If it is the will of God for us to be at peace with ALL men, how much MORE should this be applied to brethren!! It is truly sad indeed to see that even brethren are unable to reconcile with brethren and that there are divisions in the Body!! It is not the will of God that there should be divisions among His people!! (1 Corinthians 1:10) There is also a purpose for these divisions. “For first of all, I hear that there are DIVISIONS among you when you are assembled together in the church, and I partly believe it.For it is NECESSARY that heresies be among you, so that the ones who are APPROVED may become MANIFEST among you.” (1 Corinthians 11:18-19) “Therefore, you shall assuredly know them BY THEIR FRUITS.” (Matthew 7:20) It is the will of God “That they ALL may be ONE, even as You Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they may be ONE in Us, in order that the world may believe that You did send Me.”(John 17:21) Sadly, those who fail to develop the mind of Christ and agape love which comes from HIM ALONE will NOT be in the Kingdom of God!! I pray that God would open ALL of our hearts and minds to be of greater service to Him now and in the world to come!! “And now, these three remain: faith, hope and love; but the GREATEST of these is LOVE.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)
