Excerpt from Mother Teresa’s plea to end abortion at the US National Prayer Breakfast on February 3, 1994. Her powerful words hit at the heart of the evil of abortion. In attendance on her right were the then President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton and on her left were the Vice President Al Gore and Second Lady Tipper Gore. They refused to join in the very long applause of Mother Teresa’s condemnation of abortion.—Sabbath Reflections.
